Stable Door

stable door

Another door taken near the hot-house. My guess is that it was a stable door, but I’m not sure. It was in a mound near one of the houses on the same property. It sort of reminded me of the Teletubbies’ house. (Wow. Did I just admit I know what the Teletubbies’ house looks like? 😳 )

Stunning. I love this. I especially like how the frame is so worn and obviously weathered, and the door is still stark white as if it were just put in last week.

That’s part of what attracted me to it, I think. It was such an odd, quirky thing, stuck right there in the hillside. The position, the conditon of the door vs. the condition of the frame; it’s all intriguing… Glad you like it!

Pretty old. If you ask Amanda, she’ll even admit to having a favorite Teletubby… I don’t think Adam will admit to it However, when other people aren’t around, we have been known to break into Teletubby-speak. One of us loves “tuuby-toas”, but I won’t say who…
