Water Drop

Water Drop

Image made with Canon 20D, Sunpak 544 flash, and Canon 100mm macro lens. ISO was set at 100, aperture f/8, and exposure time of 1/250. My set up was simple; I just used a bottom side up stock pot in the kitchen sink as a support for a glass bowl filled with water. Then I set the water tap so it released a steady drip. There were quite a few misses, but the shots that came out were worth the trouble!

Wow, impressive… do you know of some setup with a light barrier such that the image is triggered automatically and i can take even more accurate pictures? Thanks…

Thanks for the kind words! As to your question, no, not off the top of my head. You might try contacting B&H in New York. They have everything, as far as I can tell. Their customer support is great, too, so it’s worth giving them a call. Here is their URL: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/
