Assorted Flowers

Here are some more images of flowers I took this spring. These first two are forget-me-nots. They are remarkably tiny!

I have no idea what these are called, but I thought they were awfully pretty.

I don’t know what this is either. It may be a kind of orchid. Whatever it is, I like it.

Happy Easter!

In celebration of Easter, it seemed only appropriate to include an Easter lily, even though it actually has nothing to do with Jesus’ sacrifice for us, but, oh well… Here it is:

Calla Lily

I found a pot of calla lilies for sale at the grocery store the other day, and just couldn’t resist bringing them home (after paying for them, of course!) to play with in the studio. I was drawn to them because of the graceful curves of the flowers, as well as how nicely the purple of the flowers is off-set by the green leaves. Here is a small sampling of the shots I have taken so far:
